FoxMoxie Wireless was founded in 2004, and began as a one-person company known as "FoxMoxie Internet".

The technology used in our systems has been inspired mostly by the chairman's employment at a large wireless Internet provider, where he saw various implementation caveats, and vast room for improvement in general.

Some implementation improvements made it in, but before a significant amount could be done, Daniel had moved out of the city, and as such had to leave the company.

The initial development was more hobby than venture. Before he knew it, Daniel had completed all the development required to provide his own Wi-Fi access, practically anywhere.

After a few meetings with interested people, and to the better judgement of his best friend, Daniel decided to make a venture of it, and organised a management team. Now, a short year later, FoxMoxie is deploying across Canada and the United Kingdom, one location at a time.

In February of 2007, FoxMoxie Internet became both FoxMoxie Wireless and FoxMoxie Networks, the former providing wireless Internet access, and the latter introducing network consulting services.
